Delegation to the 20th Exhibition of Pollutec in Lyon

"Pollutec 2004" and the European Organisation for Strategic Planning invited the Rulers of Local Self-government from Greece to visit and participate to the 20th Exhibition & Conference "POLLUTEC 2004", which were held in Lyon of France from 29th November to 4th December 2004.

With this occasion a ceremonial visit was made to the city of Geneva, where there were meetings with entities and actors of the Local Self-government from the Canton of Geneva.

- Information mechanisms on safety issues, financing of the Local Self-government Organisations.

- Financing Mechanisms of the Local Self-government Organisations.

- Action programs for the Environment and Health 2004-2010.

- Compositions and problems in the Medical - Pharmaceutical Care.

- Alimentation crises - Dioxins.

- Water processing.

- Readjustment of the E.U. Decisions for the Environment.

- Administration of the Environment.

- Energy - Alternative forms of energy.

- Water processing

- Water Resources

- Atmospheric Pollution

CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION

Representatives of countries of Europe, Asia, North and South America and North Africa participated to the Conference, as well as representatives of International Local Self-government Actors, Enterprises and of the E.U. for the Environment and Public Health, for the period 2004 - 2010.

During the sojourn of our representation in Lyon, Technical visits were made to the recycling and biological cleaning spaces, with presentation by specialised scientists. Furthermore, meetings and opinion exchanges were made with Local Rulers.
