Delegation to the ADRIATICA CUP 2005 & 8th TROFEO - A.S.C in Pesaro, Italy

The European Organisation for Strategic Planning, for the third year, in the framework of its cultural and athletic activities and in collaboration with PESARO and the ADRIATICA CUP, co-organised and participated to the International Basketball Tournament ADRIATICA CUP 2005 & 8th TROFEO - A.S.C., in the city of PESARO Italy from 22/04 to 25/04/2004.

The games were held at the Municipal Gym at PALASPORT and the finals in courts of the SPORT PALACE BPA Pallas Pesaro. This year over eighty (80) teams participated from countries of the EU. The invitation was addressed to players of the CADETTI, BAM, ALLIEVI, ESORDIENTI, MINI BASKET categories from all Europe. Mixed teams are allowed in the categories ALLIEVI (1992), ESORDIENTI (1993) and MINI BASKET (1993 - 1995).

The delegation of Basketball teams was made in collaboration with the athletic sections of the municipalities and communities from place to place. It is an important hosting in which our country participates utilising its dynamic in the Basketball area and also its experience from the organisation of the Olympic Games in Athens.

The participation of Municipal Teams showed us, from our experience, that it creates the bases for inter-municipal collaborations between the Municipalities of the countries that participate in this event.

In our delegation of this year, the Basketball Team of the Municipality of Tamyne (Aliveri) participated.
