The European Organisation for Strategic Planning in the frames of its collaboration and the enhancement of local self-government bodies, organised on the 22nd and 23rd November 2003, at Elefsina, a conference with subject:
'West Attica in the 21st century. Environment - Viable Development and the role of Self-governance"
At the conference specific directions were discussed, which the local self-government must follow in the framework of its jurisdictions, for the protection of the environment, the viable development and the improvement of the standard of life of the residents in the areas of West Attica.
