The European Organisation for Strategic Planning, in the frames of activities with object the study of the institution of Local Self-government, as well as the Regional development in Europe, organised in Athens a Two-day Meeting with general subject:
"The Greek economy and society after the Olympic Games of 2004 - The new development perspectives"

The development perspectives of the Greek Know-How in the Organisation of large Athletic and Cultural Events
The O.G. and the new model of social development and the utilisation perspectives of the new possibilities of the Olympic Cities (new perspective in the Regional Development)
The utilisation of the volunteer movement and its connection with the Ecumenical Hellenic Diaspora
The value of the Para-Olympic Games and their contribution to the enhancement of the Social Solidarity policies
Assessments' critique of the assumption and organisation of the Olympic and the Para-Olympic Games 2004
With the opportunity of the Two-day Meeting, there was a Book Exhibition about the Olympic Games, with collectibles from 1994 to 2004. The collectibles and the exhibition were granted by courtesy of the Association of Editors and Booksellers of Athens.
