In the framework of its collaboration with Local Self-government bodies, the European Organisation for Strategic Planning in collaboration with the Municipality of Asklipieio Argolida, organised on 21st July 2002 a conference in the Municipality of Asklipieio with subject:

"THE MUNICIPALITY OF ASKLIPIEIO ON A DEVELOPMENT ORBIT" AGRICULTURAL POLICY AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF ARGOLIDA REGION"

Specific objectives of the conference were:

1.Utilisation of the primary sector of agriculture

2.Utilisation of natural human resources of the region in the frames of an integrated approach, adjusted to the specific conditions of the areas of the region for a viable sustainable development.

3.Developmental reconstruction of the mountainous and by extension disadvantaged areas with the application of development programs through the structural funds of EU.

4.Detection of problems, comparative disadvantages and advantages of the mountainous and disadvantageous areas.

5.Statements of solutions and proposals.

At the conference participated and provided proposals, the following persons:
