The European Organisation for Strategic Planning, considering that the institution of Local Self-government is the main lever of the Development procedure in the entire Europe, it strengthens, promotes and encourages all those procedures and measures that have as a target the decentralisation, the Regional Development and the Collaboration of the European Self-government Organisations. EOSP organised the 3rd International Conference for the collaboration of the Self-government Organisations of Greece and of the Countries - Members of the European Union.
The subject of the Conference was:
"Local Development and Entrepreneurship - The role of the Self-government Organisations"
The 3rd Conference was held from 10th to 12th June 2005, in the cultural center of the Municipality of Trikala, in Trikala, having as objective to strengthen the Greek Region. Local Self-government actors from the countries - members of the European Union participated, as well as Mayors and Prefects from all Greece.
