The European Organisation for Strategic Planning, respecting the effort of the olive oil producers and the olive oil-pressers for the upgrade and prominence of the two most important of our national products, wanted through the organisation of the Conference Festival Exhibition of olive and olive oil to honour the above two contributors for their great offer to the agricultural economy and the olive and olive oil field especially.
Olive oil and table olives are traditional nutritional products for Greeks and the above products produced in Greece are the best, on the international level, regarding taste, quality and nutritional value.
Thousands of families up to date are handling the production of those products, maintaining the social web in mountainous and disadvantaged areas of the country where mainly they are cultivated.
To the above thousands of olive cultivators' families, approximately 2,500 oil-pressers are providing their services being established in the production area, contributing the most to the local agricultural and national economy.

Objective of the Two-day conference:

The maintenance of the social web in the mountainous, semi-mountainous (disadvantaged) areas of Greece where olive is mainly produced
The prominence of the contributors to olive production for their important contribution regarding effectiveness and innovation in the development of Agriculture
The prominence of the unique in taste and nutritional value traditional products of our country, olive and olive oil
The contribution to the rationalisation of the commercial channels with the protection of the environment from adulterated and mixed degraded olive oils
The contribution to the improvement of the presentation and preparation of the products in branded and marketable packages
The contribution in the development and application of integrated systems for the administration of production and security of quality and hygiene of the products
The contribution to the improvement and monitoring of sanitary products
The prominence of the problems of olive producers and oil pressers in the frames of jointly seeking solutions for the benefit of themselves and the economy in general
